Ellen L. Elliott

January 29, 1939~November 30, 2020(age 81)

Ellen's life began on January 29, 1939 in Hollidaysburg, PA. She was the son of James A. and Kathleen L. (Copenhagen) Cochran.

Ellen spent 30 years serving food and making friends at Denny's Restaurant in Junction City. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Herington and had attended St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Ellen loved her TV and QVC shopping. She loved to hear her grandson sing and loved her family deeply.

Her loving family includes her children Eugene ( Bonita "Bonnie") Ray of Wayne, OK and Donna Rae of Manhattan; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, her sister Donna Horne of Titusville, Fl and nieces Kathleen Sweeney of Mims, FL and Shonda Schwartz of PA.

Ellen passed away on Monday November 30, 2020 at Legacy of Herington. She is preceded in death by her parents, children James R. Ray and Johnlene "Jackie" Carson and brother James A. Forrester.

Her family will gather with friends on Saturday from 2- 4 p.m. at Yazel-Megli Funeral Home, Herington and her funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 10 a.m. led by Pastor Darrell Geist.
