The Salina Police Department (SPD) and Fire Medics responded to the report of a 5-month old male infant who was reportedly, unresponsive.
According to SPD on Monday morning at around 7:42 am, authorities and first responders were dispatched to a single-family residence in central Salina for a medical call involving an unknown disturbance.
Reportedly, officers and medics arrived and contacted the occupants of that home. Just prior to the call, one of those occupants had discovered their 5-month-old male unresponsive in their crib.
Both adult occupants of the home were interviewed by Salina Police Detectives.
Adyson Burr, (21) and resident of that address, has been arrested and with a requested charge of 1st Degree Homicide and 1 requested charge of Child Abuse.
The case is still under investigation including an autopsy to be performed in Kansas City later this week.
