The Kansas Wesleyan Coaches Luncheon Series returns for the 2026-27 season with the first luncheon on September 3 at Martinelli's Little Italy in downtown Salina.
The Coaches Luncheon Series is presented by the Jeff Wells Agency of American Family Insurance. The Jeff Wells Agency has proudly been a long-time presenter of the Coaches Luncheon Series and the University is grateful for their continued support of the series and Kansas Wesleyan University. Agency owner Jeff Wells, '92 is a proud alum of Kansas Wesleyan.
Tickets for the event are $15 and can be purchased online at kwucoyotes.com/tickets, or reservations can be made by contacting the KWU Athletics Office.
Check-in and walk-up registration for the event begins at 11:30 a.m., with the program beginning at 11:45. Lunch will be served family style with chop salad and Martinelli's signature red and white pastas.
Tyler Henry, the Voice of the Coyotes on Eagle Radio, will serve as emcee for the luncheons.
The first luncheon in the series will be September 3 featuring the fall sports coaches - Matt Middleton (Football), Aubrey Wilson (Women's Volleyball), Garrett Young (Women's and Men's Cross Country), Michael McIntyre (Women's Soccer) and Cody Bartlow (Men's Soccer).
The second luncheon will be October 20 and will feature the winter sports and early spring sports coaches - Harper Taylor (Women's Basketball), Jordan Murdock (Men's Basketball), Kyle Hiser (Women's and Men's Indoor Track and Field), Herb Halinski (Women's and Men's Bowling), Claire Schmidt (Dance), Mikhaela Sowers (Cheer) and Brandon Stephenson (Men's Volleyball).
The third luncheon in the series will be on January 26, 2027 and will feature the spring sports coaches - Megan Elliott (Softball), Bill Neale (Baseball), Jefferson Cook (Women's and Men's Golf), Landin Sledge (Flag Football), Kyle Hiser (Women's and Men's Outdoor Track and Field), and Jarrett Bowman (Women's and Men's Tennis).
