The Saline County Sheriff's Office is investigating the theft of a motorcycle from a towing company's storage lot.
Sometime between Sept. 6 and Wednesday, someone cut six holes in the perimeter fence of A & A Towing and Recovery's storage lot at 1334 North Ohio, causing $1,200 in damage, Saline County Sheriff Roger Soldan said this morning. Some of the holes were fairly large, he said.
Once inside, the suspect(s) broke into a storage container and stole a 2001 Honda CBR motorcycle valued at $3,000, Soldan said. The motorcycle is red, white, and black in color and has left mirror damage, he said. The license plate on the motorcycle was KS 11EUJ, Soldan added.
Investigators are reviewing surveillance video, he said.
