UPDATE: Hail, wind, heavy rain continue to be main concerns, NWS says

UPDATE 7:30 a.m. Tuesday: A handful of strong to severe storms are possible this afternoon and this evening, according to the National Weather Service. Dime to quarter size hail, 50 to 60 mph winds, and pockets of heavy rainfall are the main concerns.

A handful of strong to low-end severe thunderstorms are expected Tuesday afternoon and evening across the region, according to the National Weather Service.

The strongest activity will be capable of dime to quarter size hail, 50 to 60 mph winds, along with pockets of heavy rainfall and localized flooding.
