A check for suspicious activity resulted in the arrest of a Salina man on multiple requested drug charges Monday night.

Officers were sent to the 700 block of N. Fourth Street for the report of suspicious activity. Once there, they made contact with Shadd Boese, 47, of Salina, who was in the driver's seat of a Toyota Land Cruiser, Salina Police Captain Paul Forrester reported this morning.

Boese had an active warrant from Salina Municipal Court for failure to appear. According to Forrester, Boese was in possession of methamphetamine that was without a tax stamp, as well as some narcotic pills. During a search of the vehicle, officers located an X26P taser that had been stolen from an officer during a vehicle burglary in Saline County in December 2020, Forrester noted.

Boese was arrested on the following requested charges, Forrester reported.

●Felony possession with intent to distribute

●Possession of methamphetamine

●Possession of drug paraphernalia

●No drug tax stamp

●Possession of stolen property
