Lloyd Clarence Erickson

Lloyd Clarence Erickson, 79, of Roxbury, KS, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at Angel Arms, McPherson. He was a retired farmer and also deputy sheriff for the McPherson County Sheriff Department.
Lloyd was born on February 20, 1945, in Lindsborg, KS, the son of Clarence and Geneva (Anderson) Erickson. He graduated from Roxbury High School. He served in the Army National Guard during the Vietnam War.
On January 21, 1971, Lloyd was united in marriage to Barbara Lee Lawson in Lindsborg, KS. They were married for 39 years prior to Barbara’s passing on October 16, 2010.
He was a member of the Roxbury United Parish.
Survivors include his two sons, David Blosser of McPherson, KS and Kevin Erickson of Roxbury, KS; a grandson, Dylan Blosser of McPherson, KS; siblings, Leland (Anna) Erickson of Roxbury, KS, Helen (Dennis) Moennich of McPherson, KS, Larry Erickson of McPherson, KS, Darlene Nelson of Mt. Hope, KS, and Lauren Erickson of Lindsborg, KS; and many extended family members and friends.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM, Sunday, June 9, 2024, at Stockham Family Funeral Home, McPherson. The funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM, Monday, June 10, at Roxbury United Parish, Roxbury with Rev. Libby Themis officiating. Burial with Military Honors will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Lindsborg.
