The due date for the first half of 2021 Saline County property taxes is coming up next month.
Saline County Treasurer Jim DuBois told Salina Post that the first half of 2021 county property taxes are due Dec. 20. The second half will be due May 10, 2022.
Tax statements for 2021 are scheduled to be mailed out next week, DuBois said.
"Please send the remittance stub from the bottom of the tax statement with the payment. Please remember to indicate on the stub if you want a paid receipt returned to you," he said.
If you are not able to find your statement, you can call the treasurer's office at (785) 309-5860 or email sc.treasurer@saline.org, for the amount due and the tax ID number. A copy of the statement can be emailed or mailed upon request, DuBois said.
"If the 2020 taxes have not been paid, interest is due. Please call the Treasurer’s Office for the correct amount prior to sending payment," he added.
