Wesley Charles DePoy, 70, of Beverly, Kansas, died Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at Kenwood View Health & Rehab Center in Salina, Kansas.
He was born on November 6, 1953 in Beloit, Kansas, the son of Maurice and Rosella Fischer DePoy. Wesley was raised in the Cawker City area where he graduated from high school in 1971.
He continued to live in Cawker City and married Cynthia Kay Anderson on September 21, 1995 in Salina. Shortly after being married they moved to Beverly.
Wesley was a Master Welder and worked for several businesses through the years. Having grown up around the lake at Cawker City, Wesley always enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Survivors include his wife Cindy of the home; sons Wesley DePoy, II of Beloit, Shawn DePoy of Tipton, Bryce DePoy of Down; daughter Darcell Nelson of Iola; brothers Dan and Allen of Cawker City; Carl Suter of Beloit; six grandchildren ; and seven great grandchildren.
Wesley is preceded in death by his parents; brother Joe DePoy; and sister Carla Doxson.
Graveside service to be held on March 9, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Cawker City Cemetery, Cawker City, Kansas.
Arrangements are by Affordable Cremations Plus, Wichita, Kansas.
