A loose dog call, led to the arrest of a female for allegedly possessing illegal drugs.
According to the Salina Police Department (SPD), officers were dispatched to the Airliner Motel (781 N. Broadway) about a loose dog in the area. When they arrived, officers made contact with a 55-year old woman identified as Leslie McMurray, in the area of her room.
Reportedly, McMurray was holding a Yeti cup which an officer observed a plastic bag containing suspected methamphetamine residue in. McMurray was then arrested without incident
McMurray was booked into the Saline County Jail for Possession of Meth and Drug Paraphernalia.
