The National Weather Service in Wichita has issued a tornado warning in effect until 7:15 p.m. Thursday for Lincoln County and northern Ellsworth County.

At 6:20 p.m. CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located 6 miles northeast of Wilson, moving east at 30 mph.
