More than $1,800 worth of tools and other items were stolen Sunday from the bed of a construction company pickup parked at a west Salina motel.
Salina Police Captain Gary Hanus said this morning that the tools were stolen from the bed of a Shull Construction pickup sometime between 1-10:30 a.m. Sunday while it was parked at Quality Inn and Suites, 2140 W. Crawford Street.
According to Hanus, $1,300 worth of the tools stolen belonged to a 26-year-old Shull employee. More than $500 belonged to Shull Construction. Items stolen include the following, Hanus said.
●A Milwaukee Packout System
●A Milwaukee rolling tool box
●A large Milwaukee tool box
●Two Milwaukee storage totes
●A sawzall
●A skill saw
●A light
●A grinder
●A finish nailer
●A hand drill
