WICHITA, Kan. - Alexa Mansur of Kansas Wesleyan University has earned the KCAC Women's Flag Football Defensive Player of the Week honors, the conference office announced Tuesday. Student-athletes are selected for their performances from April 7-13 by a vote of conference sports information directors. All KCAC Player of the Week honors are presented by Equity Bank.

Mansur made three huge plays on the final drive of the game to secure KWU's 14-13 win over Baker in the conference meeting between the teams. Baker had driven the field on their final drive of the game and had a first and goal at the KWU 8. On second down, Mansur made a stop, holding the Baker runner to a 1-yard gain. Then, on third down, she broke up a potential go-ahead scoring pass, and then on fourth down and goal at the KWU 2, did it again, breaking up another potential scoring pass with 13 seconds left, securing the win for the Coyotes.
