A wind advisory has been issued for Thursday for counties in our area.

The National Weather Service in Wichita has issued a wind advisory in effect from 1-8 p.m. Thursday for the following counties in our area.

South winds at 25 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph are expected.

Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high-profile vehicle.
