
Gail Lynne Bowker died on March 8, 2025, at KU Medical Center after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on April 25, 1957, in Lamar, Colorado, to Ivan and Jo Mae Myers. Gail graduated from Holcomb High School in Kansas in 1975 and earned her Bachelor of Arts in elementary education and music from McPherson College.
On December 21, 1979, Gail married Park Bowker in Garden City, Kansas. Together they built a life filled with love and dedication to family, living in McPherson and later Salina before settling in the Kansas City area. Gail was known for a life of prayer, love of music, art, and gardening.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Park Bowker; their children Ethan Bowker, Krista Bowker, and Kelley Bowker; grandchildren Liam, Cyrus, and Jameson; and her brothers Alan Myers (Jenni) and Jim Myers (Shelly). She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Ronald Myers.
A celebration of Gail’s life will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at Crossroads Church in Salina, Kansas 1125 W South St, Salina, KS. Memorial contributions may be made to Crossroads Church of Salina.
