Clovis, NM — Linda Shomo passed away in Salina, KS on February 10, 2021. She was born in Ransom, KS on October 7, 1946 to Raymond and Veta (Thompson) Lamoree. She grew up in Beeler, KS. She attended Brown-Mackie in Salina. There she met her husband, Richard Shomo who was stationed at Schilling Air Force Base. They married on March 21, 1965. To this union a daughter, Lisa Freeman was born; she survives.
Other survivors are a grandson, Jerry Freeman (Selina Martinez); sisters, Gayla (Wade) Michaelis, of Ness City, KS and Gwenda (Douglas) Philbrook, of Salina, KS and brother, Gary (Deborah) Lamoree, of Beeler, KS.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard and her parents.
A family graveside service is planned at the Beeler Cemetery at a later date as well as a memorial service in Clovis, NM.
