On March 11, 2026, God’s son and servant TC Andrewson was called home to be with the Lord following a well-fought battle after a stroke and surgery. TC was the 7th child born to Arnold and Dorla Andrewson on the 19th of July, 1949, in Clay Center, Kansas. He grew up in Clyde, Kansas and in 1967 he joined the Army and served in Vietnam until 1970. He returned to Kansas after hiking all over California and returned to his hometown for some time. After his mother’s death, he moved to Salina, Kansas, where he met his wife Angel and enjoyed the rest of his life as husband, dad and grandpa.
In 1996, TC began a career at BRC Bearing in Salina where he worked as a Customer Service Representative for 29 years, designing and engineering conveyor belt systems to move product for companies and grain elevators all over central Kansas, a career that chose him and he thoroughly loved. Though he never seemed to curate an actual hobby, TC found joy in simple things like drives in the country all over Kansas with Angel and usually one of the family dogs, just meandering the back roads to see what could be seen; he loved hanging out with friends and family of which there are many, and being the life of the party and the prankster; anything to get people to laugh. He was the king of April Fools Day, always finding a way to surprise someone (usually Angel) with a prank. He also had a sweet soul and would often send flowers for no reason and leave little silly notes around the house for Angel to find.
TC had a quiet deep faith which he didn’t discuss but lived out in many ways. Prayer and belief in God were of utmost importance to him all his life. TC was very active in the church when the family was living in Salina.
Service to country was also a driving force for TC. He served as Chaplain for many years at the American Legion Post 140 in Lindsborg and helped with many Post activities when he was able. He loved bartending at the Legion, because it allowed many opportunities to tell jokes and make people laugh.
His was a life well lived.
TC was preceded in death by his parents, Arnold and Dorla, Brothers Andy, Ty, Monti and Hans Andrewson, and sisters Sonja Taylor and Jill Rettig.
TC is survived by his wife of 44 years, Angel (Einfeldt) Andrewson, Bridgeport, Ks., Sons Chris Andrewson of Morganville, Kansas, Matthew Andrewson (Diane) , Lindsborg, James Andrewson (Shannon) , Salina, Ks., Mikael Andrewson (Bethany), Newton, and daughter Jessica Pickering (Quintin), Lindsborg, Grandchildren Mariah Andrewson (Chandler), Taisley and Tierrah Tieking, Kenzlie & Kyla Crain, Joplyn Buster, Levi and Martin Pickering, and Madi Kauffman, his sister Jo (Ron) Cibalski of North Port, Fla., Sister in law Margene (Gary) Cash of Clyde, and so many very special family members and friends.
