HERINGTON - A small earthquake rattled the area northwest of Herington Saturday evening.

According to the Kansas Geological Survey, a 2.3 magnitude quake struck at 8:14 p.m. Saturday. The quake was centered southwest of the Trail Road/625 Avenue intersection
