The Saline County Health Department will host a flu shot clinic on Wednesday, October 2, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the 4-H Building in Kenwood Park. The clinic offers both drive-thru and walk-in services, with the drive-thru available for adults aged 19 and older. Parents with children aged 6 months and older can use the walk-in option by entering through the west doors of the 4-H Building.
Participants are encouraged to wear short sleeves and a mask for the clinic. Several health insurance plans are accepted, including BC/BS, Aetna, UMR, Ambetter, United Healthcare, Medicare, KanCare/Medicaid, and others. For those out of network or without insurance, flu shots are available for a fee at the time of service.
In the event of bad weather, all flu shots will be administered inside the 4-H Building. For more information, individuals can contact the Saline County Health Department at 785-826-6606 or visit their website at www.salinecountyks.gov/health-department.
