Saline County Clerk Jamie Doss would like to remind residents that Tuesday, Oct. 15, is the last day to register to vote for the November General Election.
If you have changed your name or address, a new voter registration with the updated information will need to be completed at the County Clerk’s office or online at voteks.gov
If you would like an advance mail ballot, contact the Saline County Clerk's office at (785) 309-5820 to have an application mailed to you, fill out an application online at AV1.pdf (ksvotes.gov) or stop by the clerk's office at 300 W. Ash Street.
Advance mail ballots will be mailed on Oct. 16. The last day to request an advance mail ballot is Oct. 29. Advance mail ballots can be returned by mail, dropped off at the clerk's office at 300 W. Ash Street, or use the ballot drop box, which is conveniently located at the Salina City-County Building.
Early voting begins on October 21. To vote by mail you must complete an Application for Advance Ballot by Mail (PDF format) by printing it out or go to www.ksvotes.org to fill out a form online. KSVotes.org is smartphone-compatible for your signature.
Please Note: Digital typed signatures are not accepted. We verify your signature against your voter registration record. After you have completed the application, please return it to the clerk's office by email, mail, or fax.
A separate application must be submitted for each election, except in the case of permanent illness or disability (see below, Permanent Advanced Voting Status).
Your completed application must be received at the Election Office by the Tuesday prior to the election (K.S.A. 25-1122(f)). Submit your application early to avoid delays!
Ballots will be mailed beginning 20 days before the election.
If you are unsure of your polling location, call the clerk's office at (785) 309-5820
Sample ballots have now been uploaded for viewing. Please go to Kansas Secretary of State | VoterView (voteks.org)
