STILLWATER, Okla. – Trailing by 16 points to start the fourth quarter, K-State used a furious rally to pull to within five points late in the quarter but were unable to complete the charge as Oklahoma State won 82-74 at Gallagher-Iba Arena on Wednesday night.
K-State (13-8, 2-6 Big 12) put four players into double figures, as Serena Sundell led the Wildcats with 21 points, four assists and three rebounds.
Graduate transfer Sarah Shematsi tallied 15 points and five rebounds. Against the Cowgirls this season, Shematsi is averaging 20.0 points.
Sophomore Brylee Glenn notched 12 points, while senior Gabby Gregory came off the bench due to illness to record 11 points and five rebounds.
Oklahoma State (14-6, 4-4) also pushed four players into double figures with Naomie Alnatas and Terryn Milton carding 17 points each. Taylen Collins added 16, while Lior Garzon scored 11 points off the bench.
