Marlyce Ann Snay passed away on April 20, 2023. She was born May 12, 1938 to Howard and Merna Snay, Haven, Kansas.

Marlyce graduated from Haven High School in 1956 and Grace Hospital School of Nursing, Hutchinson, in 1959. She worked as a registered nurse and later, as a certified registered nurse anesthetist.

Her hobbies included intricate hand-needlework and she loved several dogs as precious pets.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, April 27, 2023 at Mount Hope Cemetery.

Marlyce was preceded in death by her father, Howard Snay in 2001, and by her mother, Merna Snay in 2020.

She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Mary Ann and Fred Saenger, Hutchinson; sister Joyce Snay, Hutchinson; and seven loving nieces and nephews, Stephen Saenger, Merriam, Kansas, Gary and Stephanie Telleen, Haven, Kansas, Doug and Barbara Seibel, Mauldin, South Carolina, and Jeff and Kendra Bent, Austin, Texas.

Members of our family are grateful to all the staff at Good Samaritan Village and Gentiva Hospice for their kind and compassionate care.
