Salina Police are actively investigating an alleged burglary that happened at an auto repair shop, as several items were reported 'stolen.'
According to the Salina Police Department an employee of the 'Carb Shop' (215 W. Lincoln) reported of an alleged burglary that took place at the business between the timeframe of July 23rd, 7:00 pm - July 24, 7:00 am. The employee stated when they arrived on July 24th to open at 7:00 am, they noticed 'a door was slightly open' with 'obvious signs of forced entry.'
The employee also reported of several items that were stolen. Those items included:
Welding equipment, two gym bags, black welding helmet (designed with wings), credit card terminal and an OTC vehicle scanner.
The total loss was valued at $2,095. No suspect(s) were identified at this time.
