Russell Wayne Johnson, 60, lifelong Roxbury, Kansas resident, died Sunday, June 2, 2024 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas.
He was born on January 15, 1964 in Salina, Kansas, the son of Raymond William and Lois Elaine Vidricksen Johnson.
For many years Russell farmed in the Roxbury area. He married Brenda Skinner in August 1982 and they later divorced.
Survivors include his children April Linder and husband Lynn of Ellsworth; Mason Johson with Kyle Williams in Hutchinson; and Rene Coyle and husband Doug of Hutchinson; brothers Jack R. Johnson of Roxbury, Peter W. Johnson of Canton, Georgia, Timothy A. Johnson of Branson, Missouri; sisters Amy Scott of Roxbury and Eloise Eickstadt of McPherson; along with four grandchildren.
Russell is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers Clayton L. Johnson and Thomas E. Johnson.
Cremation has taken place and inurnment services in the Valley View Cemetery in Roxbury will be announced by Affordable Cremations Plus, Wichita, Ks.
