Ad Astra Books & Coffee House is proud to announce the opening of applications for the 2025 Cash Hollistah Scholarship. Named in honor of Salina rapper, DJ, poet, and community leader Cash Hollistah, this $2,000 scholarship celebrates creativity and community engagement by supporting graduating seniors in Central Kansas who demonstrate excellence in the arts and community enrichment.

Cash Hollistah is widely recognized for his dedication to fostering creativity and supporting his community. Inspired by a transformative creative writing class during his sophomore year of high school, Hollistah has devoted his life to the arts and community building.

Over the years, Hollistah has organized events such as battle rap competitions, art exhibits, open-mic poetry nights, and community block parties, earning admiration for his leadership and contributions to Salina’s cultural landscape. Hollistah currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Kansas Music Hall of Fame.

In his honor, Ad Astra Books & Coffee House, home to the popular “ONEMiC” event series, established the Cash Hollistah Scholarship to support the next generation of artists and community leaders.
