On Wednesday afternoon, May 29, a 66-year-old Salina woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of K-140 and I-135 in Saline County.

Saline County Sheriff Roger Soldan said the accident happened at approximately 4:32 p.m. yesterday.

"There was a vehicle that exited the northbound off-ramp and stopped at the stop sign," said Soldan. "When they pulled away from the sign, they didn't see a vehicle that was coming from the west heading east."

Kim Fowler, 66, of Salina, was driving the black Chevy Equinox east on K-140 when she struck a yellow Chevy Monte Carlo occupied by Heath Carlson, 47, and Trena Carlson, 45, both of Salina.
