City of Salina
The City of Salina has announced construction that will be starting on Tuesday, July 1st in the intersections of Marymount and Glen, lasting for about 4 weeks.
The following is a statement from the City of Salina:
Beginning Tuesday, July 1, 2025, Smoky Hill Construction will be working in the intersection of Marymount Road and Glen Avenue. Pavement will be removed, existing utilities will be located, and a new water main will be installed. Eastbound Glen Avenue will be closed to traffic from Marymount Road to Aullwood Road. Northbound Marymount Road will be reduced to one-lane through Glen Avenue. Access to adjacent properties will be maintained. Work is expected to last four weeks and be completed by July 29, weather permitting.
Appropriate barriers will be in place to ensure the safety of workers. Motorists may encounter minor delays and are encouraged to find alternate routes.
