Police are investigating an incident in which multiple shots were fired early this morning in central Salina.
Officers were sent to the 100 block of Baker Street at 3:50 a.m. Friday after multiple persons reported hearing shots fired, Salina Police Captain Paul Forrester said this morning.
Officers found three 9mm shell casings just north of the intersection of Baker Street and University Place.
Forrester said surveillance video from the neighborhood showed two people walking across the intersection. A short time later, a blue four-door car approached from the south and one of the people walking was seen throwing something at the car. As the car continued north on Baker Street, someone inside can be seen firing shots into the air.
