A minor earthquake shook part of the county east of Salina this afternoon.

According to the Kansas Geological Survey, a 2.1 magnitude quake struck at 12:27 p.m. Sunday. It was centered just east of S. Niles Road between E. Schilling Road ans E. Water Well Road.
