Multiple items were stolen from a recreational vehicle (RV) in north Salina earlier this week.
Salina Police Captain Paul Forrester said this morning that sometime between 10 p.m. Monday and 7 a.m. Tuesday, someone broke into a 2013 Tracer 3150 RV on a property in the 700 block of E. North Street. The door had been pried open and sunglasses, flashlights, and a tool bag with miscellaneous tools were stolen. The items were valued at $1,500, according to the owner, a 38-year-old Salina man.
Additionally, an attempt was made to pry out the microwave, causing approximately $1,500 in damage to the microwave and a nearby table, Forrester said.
The man also told police that someone had attempted to pry open a CONEX box on his property.
