DICKINSON COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities investigating a burglary have made an arrest.
On Thursday, Solomon High School, 400 North Pine Street in Solomon, reported the burglary and theft of power tools, according to Dickinson County Undersheriff Jeff Vaughan.
A deputy responded to the school and learned approximately $1393 worth of tools were missing.
Deputies applied for a search warrant for a residence in Salina. During the search, deputies recovered the tools taken in the burglary.
Later on Thursday, the deputy who responded to the school made contact with the suspect in the case. The deputy arrested 51-year-old Troy Dean Holcom of Salina and booked him into the Dickinson County Jail on requested charges of burglary and theft.
