Carol Sue Teeter, 84, of Marquette, Kansas, passed away on Sunday, October 2nd, 2022, at her residence.
Carol was born in Sullivan, Indiana on January 18, 1938, a daughter of Dorothy (Bennett) and Guy Godfrey.
Carol attended Sullivan grade schools, elementary school and graduated from Sullivan High School, Sullivan, Indiana in 1956.
Through the years, Carol worked for Sandstone Heights in Little River, Kansas.
Carol enjoyed her birds and deer, dogs, cats, all her farm animals, puzzles, cooking, crocheting and spending time with friends and family.
Carol S. Godfrey was united in marriage to James A. Teeter on June 3, 1995 at their home in rural Marquette, Kansas.
She is survived by her son Mike Teeter of Marquette, Kanas; her sister Betty Peach. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Marie Ross(Shane), Keagun Teeter, Brandon Teeter, James Teeter, Jr.(Kristen) and Jake Teeter; her five great-grandchildren, James Ross(Erin), Michael Bradley(Meghan), Sarah Bennett(Anthony), Devon Beach-Mayes and Courtney Ross and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents; husbands Jim Teeter and Dennis Rickard; her sons Rick Hudson and Jim Teeter, Jr. her husband; her sisters Linda Godfrey, Ruth Bolk, Patty Reed, and her grandson Luke Teeter.
A graveside service will be held on October 15, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Langley Cemetery in Langley, KS with Pastor Brenda Hogan officiating.
