Shirley Jeanne Gilmore February 8, 1953 ~ February 5, 2024

The angels came for Shirley, who passed away on February 5, 2024, at the family home surrounded by her friend and caregiver, Bessie Rhodes, as well as her family of four — Emily, Molly, Artie and Sandy.

Shirley began her lifetime residency in Salina on February 8, 1953, to her parents, Pauline and Edward Gilmore. A common thread in Shirley's personality was her love of animals. 

The smile on Shirley's face, shown in the picture, is the light in the window that tells people Shirley, Emily and Molly are taking their long walk across the Rainbow Bridge with Sandy and Artie not far behind.
