The Saline County Engineer's Office announced Tuesday that it has closed part of S. Whitmore Road for drainage work.
S. Whitmore Road between E. Hedberg Road and Assaria Road is scheduled to be closed Tuesday and Wednesday for the replacement of a cross-road drainage structure.
Local and emergency traffic will be provided access to private property within the sections of the closed road at all times but only from the side upon which the property lies.
Saline County reminds motorists that "driving around road closure barricades is not just unlawful but extremely unsafe. For your safety and the safety of the construction workers, please obey all traffic signs."
