Salina Indivisible (a local political action group), is hosting a 1st Congressional District candidate for the 2026 election to speak.

On Thursday, December 4 Congressional District candidate for the 1st District of Kansas, Lauren Reinhold will be the guest speaker, hosted by Salina Indivisible.

Reinhold will speak at the Friendship Center (746 Commanche Ave) from 6:30 - 7:30 pm on Thursday. Reinhold will be campaigning her candidacy, on top of sharing her views on current Kansas issues.

The event is free and open to the public. A Q&A for those in attendance will occur at the end of the event.

Reinhold has practiced law for 28 years and is a former federal union officer who worked in human resources advocating for employees.

She has stated she decided to run after "witnessing firsthand how Trump, Congress and the Department of Government Efficiency have, in her view, undermined the federal government."
