Storms rumble through area, drop beneficial rain

Much of the area received a good soaking as thunderstorms rolled through the area last night.

At the Salina Regional Airport, 0.47 of an inch of rain was recorded for the 24-hour period that ended at 7 a.m. Friday. In southeast Salina, near the Eagle Radio studios, 0.60 of an inch was reported.
