Charlotte Johnson, 76, Minneapolis, died Sunday, June 23, 2024, in Minneapolis. She was born March 22, 1948, in Salina, to Marvin and Marjorie (Walmsley) Meredith.
Charlotte was a graduate of Minneapolis High School and graduated from Hutchinson Community College with an L.P.N. degree. Charlotte worked many places in her life, including the Clark Nursing Home, Crestview, Asbury Hospital, the former Good Samaritan Center in Minneapolis, and the Ottawa County Health Department. She was also a longtime hospice nurse and touched many lives while doing so. Charlotte had a unique personality and the largest heart. She was continually taking care of others, even during her time in Minneapolis Health Care and Rehabilitation Center. For a person who never had many possessions, she always had many to give and share with others.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings, Lois, Calvin, Kenneth, and Richard.
Survivors are her husband, Oscar; children, Dennis, Becky, Aaron, Anthony (Jessica), and Alex (Paula); siblings, Charlene, Karen, Betty, Marva, Marvin, Jr., and Becky; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 10:00 A.M., Friday, June 28, at Highland Cemetery, Minneapolis. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made directly to the family and be left in care of Wilson Family Funeral Home, P.O. Box 166, Minneapolis, KS 67467.
