Wyatt Johnson earns KCAC Indoor Track Athlete of the Week honor

WICHITA, Kan. - Kansas Wesleyan's Wyatt Johnson has been selected as the KCAC Men's Indoor Track and Field Track Athlete of the Week as announced by the conference office. KCAC Athletes of the Week were selected for their performances from Jan. 26-Feb. 1 by a vote of conference sports information directors. All KCAC Player of the Week honors are presented by Athletic Solutions.

Johnson's time in the 800 meters at the Washburn Open (1:52.59) ranks as the No. 9 mark in the NAIA so far this season, No. 1 in the KCAC so far this season, and is No. 2 in the KWU record books. Johnson was the top KCAC Finisher in the Men's 800m at the Washburn Open. This marks the second consecutive week in which Johnson has been named the KCAC Men's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week.
