Patricia “Patti” Ann Burkhart, 58, left this earthly life on September 14, 2020 at West Florida Hospital in Pensacola, Florida after a long battle with pneumonia. She was born on October 30, 1961 in Concordia, Kansas to Robert and Edith Love.

Patti grew up in Mankato and loved being on the farm. She enjoyed animals and tried to make a pet out of any animal she found. 

Patti graduated from Mankato High School in 1979.

She very much enjoyed waiting on customers at the many places she worked as a waitress, especially her years at the Buffalo Roam.

She is survived by her daughters Jennifer Burkhart-Mehmood (Farhat) of Pensacola, Florida and Brandy Johnson (Jerod) of Utica, Nebraska and Her four “perfect” grandchildren Sophia, Lane, Asher, and Hayden.

She was preceded in death by her brother Larry, sister Nancy, her father, and her mother.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 22 at the Christian Church in Mankato. Burial will be at Mount Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, September 21, 2020 from 1:00 pm ~ 5:00 pm at Melby Mortuary, Mankato with family greeting friends from 3:00 pm ~ 5:00 pm.
