Minor quake shakes part of Saline County NW of Assaria Sunday night

ASSARIA - A minor earthquake rattled part of south-central Saline County Sunday night.

According to the Kansas Geological Survey, a 2.2 magnitude quake struck at 8:56 p.m. Sunday northwest of Assaria. It was centered just east of Interstate 135 between E. Assaria Road and E. Salemsborg Road.
