NARKA - Jackie “Jack” Gene Chapman was born on August 3, 1955, to James and Marie (Mobley) Chapman. He left this earth on April 19, 2023.

Jack grew up in Missouri, but he had a wondrous heart. His adult life was spent in Missouri, Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas.

He was a carpenter by trade, and did a lot of handy-man jobs. He liked making things from wood, and loved giving his home created projects to others.

The last couple of years he spent in Narka, Kansas. He did many odd jobs for several people in town.

Jack is preceded in death by his parents James and Marie, two brothers, Jimmy Dale and Danny, one sister, Edna, three nephews, Pete, Jimmy D., and Clayton, and two nieces, Theresa and Resa.

He is survived by his significant other Trisha, children Caina, Kelly, Katrina and Jessie, brother Robert, sisters Kathy and Kitty, and many nieces, nephews and friends.

A private family graveside services will be held at Maple Grove Cemetery, rural Narka, at a later date.

Memorials are requested to the family and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
