WICHITA, Kan. - Kansas Wesleyan's Kendall Davis has been named as the KCAC Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for her efforts in two matches last week for the Coyotes.
KWU went 2-0 last week, maintaining the third spot in the KCAC standings, just one point behind Friends in the table, heading into the final week of the regular season. KWU got wins over Bethany 5-0 and Southwestern 1-0.
The freshman Davis moved into the starting 11 this week and had a great week. She helped the Coyotes record two clean sheets at the outside back position, where both opponents tried to attack from. Davis also delivered on offense, with a goal and an assist on the week.
