14-year-old Kan. girl. hospitalized after rear-end crash

CLOUD COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just after 7:'30a.m. Tuesday.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2013 Cadillac Escalade driven by Lori A. Weber, 38, Jamestown, was eastbound on Kansas 28 just west of Cloud County 80 Road. The Cadillac rear-ended a 2016 Subaru Forrester driven by Lisa M. Goldy, 60, Jamestown, who had struck a deer and stopped in the eastbound lanes.

A private vehicle transported a 14-year-old female passenger in the Subaru to North Central Kansas Medical Center. The drivers and three juvenile passengers in the Cadillac were not injured. All six were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
