Dona Lloydine (Galutia) Jensen-McDonald, 95, died April 29, 2024 in Abilene, KS. She was born in Barclay Township in Osage County, Kansas on November 22, 1928 to Lloyd Russell Galutia and Inez Thrush Galutia. From this marriage came three more children, Bill, Dale and Joycelyn. They grew up in Quenemo, KS.

Lloydine and husband Merle Jensen, also of Quenemo, resided in Herington, KS with their children, Terri Gardner, Jerry Jensen, and Mark Jensen. After Merle’s death in 1969, she was united in marriage to Paul McDonald.

Lloydine was a homemaker, loved sewing, canning, fishing, enjoying her kid’s activities, and riding her motorcycle, which she did well into her 60’s after solo riding in every US state in the lower forty-eight as well as Canada and Mexico. In 2017, she was asked to join the Kansas City Missouri Litas Female Motorcycle Collective as an Honorary Inductee, which she gladly accepted. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Merle, son Mark, second husband Paul, brothers Bill and Dale, and companion John Gremminger. She is survived by her daughter Terri Gardner and her children Heather and Gunnar Kickhaefer; son Jerry Jensen and his wife Patty and children Aaron Jensen and wife Debbie, Luke Jensen and wife Lindsay, Megan Neu and husband Bob, and Dylan Jensen and companion Haley Obata; sister Joycelyn Wallack; great-grandchildren Ethan and Zoe Jensen, Kenley Kickhaefer, and Ozzy Neu; as well as a host of wonderful nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
