
Sherry Jo (Wolff) Brown, 78, of Salina passed away on June 29, 2025 at her home after a long battle with brain cancer.
Sherry was born May 29, 1947, at Asbury Hospital in Salina, KS. Sherry married Bruce Brown on May 26, 1989 at the Salemsborg Lutheran Church, Salemsborg, KS.
Shery is the daughter of the late Eugene Wolff and Electa Janice (Price) Wolff. She is survived by her husband, Bruce, Salina; brother, Tomy Wolff and sister in law, Cindy Wolff, Brookville; her brother in law, James L. Brown, Flagstaff, AZ and niece, Antjea Wolff, Pittsburg, KS.
Sherry was a 1965 graduate of Brookville High School. She attended Brown Mackie college for business as well as attending the Salina Vo-Tech for art. Later, Sherry went to work as a Secretary for Exide Battery. She then worked for the NBA Bank until she went to work for Westinghouse making light bulbs here in Salina. Sherry made it through the transition to Phillips Lighting, working 22 years. After Phillips Lighting, Sherry went back into banking, working for UMB and the Bank of Tescott before retiring. In retirement, she focused on her sewing as well as other artistic creations including numerous sewing projects for the county fair where she won many awards. She loved horses and butterflies.
Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday July 19, 2025 at the Ryan Mortuary, Salina. Inurnment will be in the Brookville Cemetery, Brookville, KS.
