Lois J. Cheney, 88, died Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at home.

Mrs. Cheney was born September 4, 1932, in Enterprise, the only daughter of Elmer and Eunice Shetron. Lois worked at the water plant and Asbury Hospital, Salina.

Survivors: husband, Dee L. Cheney, of the home; sons, Steven Sanders, Simpsonville, S.C., Kevin Sanders, Phoenix, Ariz.; daughter, Cathy Mourning, Wichita; step-daughter, Deanna Venable, Georgetown, Texas; ten grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.

Lois loved life, traveling, antiquing and reading a good book.

Visitation: 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, November 3, at Ryan Mortuary, family present 5-7 p.m.

Funeral service: 10 a.m., Wednesday, November 4, at Ryan Mortuary, with burial in Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina.

Memorials: Salina Animal Shelter, care of the mortuary.
