Following former Commissioner and Vice Mayor Jerry Ivey's resignation, the City of Salina has released the names of those who have filed to fill the vacant seat.

Applications were to be accepted until&nbsp;5:00 pm on Monday, August 10.

City Commissioners will then review the applications and appoint the new Commissioner at the&nbsp;August 24 public meeting.

The seat’s term runs through January 2028.

He was elected to the Salina City Commission in November 2023 and officially began serving his four-year term in January 2024.&nbsp;
