The results of the recent Pump Up The Volume blood drive are in and the winning station was 99KG!
Radio listeners were challenged to donate during the three-day drive this past week and vote for their favorite participating radio station. 99KG receives bragging rights and a traveling trophy to display for a year.
The blood drive came ever so close to making the goal 234, collecting 230 units of blood, according to the American Red Cross' Teri Novotny. Additionally, the blood drive garnered 24 first-time donors and 103 Type-O donors, Novotny noted.
