Gregory “Greg” O. Frantz, 62, of Salina, passed away quietly and peacefully Saturday, December 24, 2022.
Greg graduated from Salina South High School, served briefly in the USAF, and worked for AutoZone for several years in management and customer service.
He was preceded in death by his beloved parents Vernon E. and Mary L. Frantz, and a niece, Courtney Lett.
Survivors include his sisters Carol LaRue of Jay, OK, Doreen Shea of Topeka, KS; a brother, Gary Frantz of Scottsdale, AZ, his stepson Jeremy Berg of Tempe, AZ, as well as close and supportive friends Kevin and Roger Wood, and Helen McClanahan.
Greg will long be remembered for his gentle, sensitive heart, sense of humor, his beautiful giggle when he laughed, and his steadfast loyalty to the KC Chiefs and the KU Jayhawks.
He enjoyed golf, meteorology, and astronomy.
A remembrance service and interment will be scheduled at a later date.
