The next commodities distribution for Saline County residents is coming up later this month.

The drive-through distribution is scheduled for 9-10:30 a.m. Feb. 16 at the 4-H Building in Kenwood Park. Please wear a facemask when talking with the distribution volunteers.

According to information from the volunteer organizers, the food items to be distributed are the same as they were in January. Food items to be distributed include green beans, grape juice, pistachios, dried eggs, mac and cheese, peanut butter, frozen ground beef, frozen tortillas, dried cranberries, and canned peas.

To be eligible for the commodities distribution, a single person must have a monthly income of $1,396 or less. For each additional family member, add $492 to that monthly income amount.
